Bullhorn Troubleshooting
Issue
When attempting to connect or reconnect the Bullhorn integration in Spinify, users may encounter a 500 Internal Server Error during the authorization process.
Cause
This is a known issue on the Bullhorn side.
According to Bullhorn Support, the error can occur when a user attempts to authorize the Bullhorn integration in a browser that already has an active Bullhorn session stored in its cookies or cache.
Resolution
Option 1: Log Out of Bullhorn Before Connecting
- Open Bullhorn in your browser.
- Log out of your Bullhorn account.
- Return to Spinify.
- Attempt to connect or reconnect the Bullhorn integration again.
Option 2: Use an Incognito/Private Browsing Window (Recommended)
If logging out does not resolve the issue, or if you want to avoid any cached session conflicts:
- Open a new Incognito (Chrome) or Private Browsing window.
- Log in to Spinify.
- Navigate to the Bullhorn integration settings.
- Connect or reconnect the Bullhorn integration.
This method bypasses existing browser cookies and cached Bullhorn sessions and has been the most reliable workaround.
Additional Notes
- Bullhorn has identified this as a known issue and has flagged it with their Development Team.
- If a user continues to experience the error after logging out of Bullhorn, recommend completing the connection process in an Incognito/Private Browsing window.
