How To Change A User's License

Need to update a user's role in Spinify? Whether you're giving someone admin access or changing a user to a player or fan, you can update their license at any time.

Update a User's License

1. From the left-hand menu, select Team.
2. Click Users.
3. Find the user you want to update and click the Edit (pencil) icon.
4. In the License dropdown, select the appropriate role:
   • Admin – Full access to manage Spinify settings, users, competitions, and more.
   • Player – Can participate in competitions, view leaderboards, and earn rewards.
   • Fan – View-only access to follow competitions and leaderboards.
5. Click Save User.

When Do the Changes Take Effect?

The updated permissions will apply the next time the user signs in to Spinify.

Note: If the user is already logged in, they'll need to log out and sign back in before their new permissions take effect.
